[MlMt] Timezone error

Hello,

Since BST ended, all of my messages are being sent with a time stamp
that is one hour too early or at least are displaying a time one hour
too early in my sent mailbox. Messages sent with other clients display
the correct time sent time in my common sent folder.

For example, this message is being sent at 20:10 GMT, but will be
recorded in my sent messages as 19:10.

Thanks,
Paul

This is a somewhat embarrassing bug. You have 2 options. You can fetch a
test release of MailMate by holding down ⌥ when clicking “Check
Now” in the Software Update preferences pane or you can wait a day or
two and it should start working again by itself (the bug only affects a
few days close to the shift to/from daylight savings time). Yeah, it's a
pretty weird bug. For those interested, it's essentially caused by me
wrongly using an API with a time epoch starting in 2001 to interpret a
time based on an epoch starting in 1970...

As my attribution line above demonstrates, that's absolutely correct:
your Date header claimed 20:10 +0100, while the Received headers show it
was sent at 20:10 +0000.

Have you restarted MailMate since the time change? It may be only
checking the zone at launch time, not every time it has to format a
time.

I too have this problem and a restart (first MailMate and then the iMac)
didn't solve it.

Just for the record (and I think I already wrote this on the list), this
bug has been fixed (and it would also resolve by itself within a few
days after the time zone changed).
